Ripples in the Water
It is sad to watch someone you love and care about hurt themselves. I'm sure that they don't realize that when they are hurting themselves, they are also hurting many others that care about them. It is like the big rock that is thrown into the calm water...it makes a big splash at first but then it makes several ripples for a long time. The ripples just keep going out farther and farther. That is what happens when your loved one is the big rock in the water and others are feeling the ripples from their poor choices.
